1Huaqi Electric Team

Team introduction

With the ever-increasing energy consumption and increasingly severe environmental problems, energy conservation and environmental protection have become a major issue affecting the country's development, and it is also one of the most important and priority issues in the automotive industry. The state strongly supports the development of electric vehicles and lists them as an important emerging pillar industry of the country. The Huaqi Electric Fleet of Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology came into being. It was founded in June 2012 by a group of teachers and students who love electric vehicle technology.The Huaqi electric fleet is growing sturdily under the care and support of leaders at all levels from the Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology, the School of Mechanical Engineering, and the Mechanical Engineering Experimental Center. It has received effective guarantee and support in terms of venues, devices, materials, etc.

The links are also becoming more complete, and in 2012, it was supported by three school innovation and entrepreneurship projects: Competitive Energy-saving Electric Vehicle Research, Energy-saving Electric Vehicle Drive Control System Research and Energy-saving Electric Vehicle Solar Charging System Research in 2013.

Huaqi Electric Fleet provides a working platform for students and teachers who love electric vehicle technology research to conduct electric vehicle design, processing, testing, and theoretical exploration. The spirit of teamwork and hard work is promoted here, and everyone is free to use their imagination and creativity.

Team goals

(1) Research and explore extreme energy-saving technologies for electric vehicles.

Through the development of competitive energy-saving electric vehicles, participate in the highest level of international competition activities, test research results. Strive to achieve 600km/kwh of energy-saving indicators and enter the ranks of the world's advanced level.

(2) Towards the direction of unmanned driving, research on intelligent and networked technologies for electric vehicles.

2Huaguang Robot Wild Wolf Team

Team introduction

Huaguang Robot Wild Wolf Team was established on June 20, 2017. It is committed to the research directions of robot body,control system, sensing, communication, system integration, etc., tracking and researching key technologies of robots, and attaching importance to special robots, industrial robots, and unmanned Driving technology application development.

The Wild Wolves select members for the whole school and represent the school to participate in high-level robotics competitions at home and abroad. With the competition as the driving force, the Wild Wolves twisted the strength of students from different colleges and majors into a rope, and gathered outstanding talents with the same passion for robots, common values, and strong sense of responsibility to contribute to robotics research.Nowadays, we have accumulated experience, down-to-earth, united and cooperated, pursued dreams more eagerly than ever, and faced the future with more confidence, and built the wild wolf stronger and bigger and become a team respected by our opponents.

Team structure

Structure

Mechanical group

Three-dimensional modeling, structural design and manufacturing of robots.

Electric control group

The electronic control group mainly compiles the robot's control program (based on STM32), debugs the robot's motors,

sensors, etc., to achieve precise control of the robot; designs and manufactures circuit boards,tests and integrates various modules.

Vision Group

Mainly responsible for robot perception, decision-making, control and other related algorithm design and optimization.

Software group

Develop adaptable debugging software (upper computer) according to the competition, responsible for database design, design and implementation of code to meet project needs.

Public Policy Group

Responsible for the team's publicity, promotion and new media operations, and plan and coordinate activities.

Finance Group

Responsible for the laboratory's accounting and cost control, and record the flow of funds in the laboratory.3Mechanical Engineering Experiment Center.

3Mechanical Engineering Experiment Center

The Mechanical Engineering Experimental Center was established in August 2006 and is an important practice base for the school. In December 2012, it was approved as the construction unit of Guangdong Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center. The Engineering Training Center was established in 2006, with a construction area of approximately 5,000 square meters. The main equipment includes CNC machining machines (machining centers, CNC millingmachines, CNC lathes, CNC punching machines, etc.), special machining machines (CNC EDM, WEDM, etc.) Etc.), conventional metal cutting machine tools (turning, milling, planing, grinding, drilling, gear processing equipment, etc.), thermal processing equipment (stamping,welding, casting, heat treatment) and rapid prototyping, PLC, molds (stamping molds, injection molds) , Die-casting mold) and CNC punching machine and other total assets of more than 7 million yuan. Currently, the center has 34 training instructors, including 1 associate professor, 1 senior experimenter, 15 engineers and experimenters, and 20 senior technicians. The training project includes CNC turning, CNC milling, machining center, EDM, wire cutting, rapid prototyping, PLC, CNC punching,turning, milling and gear processing, grinding, fitter, sheet metal work, heat treatment,stamping, mold disassembly and assembly , Casting, welding and other 17 internships. The Engineering Training Center is a practical teaching base with advanced equipment, sound management, and certain characteristics to train applied talents.

According to the school's orientation and talent training goals, three practical teaching platforms of mechanical manufacturing engineering basic skills training, mechanical professional skills training, and comprehensive innovation training have been built with ability training as the core to cultivate students' comprehensive engineering practice and innovation capabilities.

The experimental center has organized more than 800 students to obtain the Programmable Control System Designer (National Vocational Qualification Level 4, Level 3 certificate, with a pass rate of 91.53%. Mechanical Innovation Design and Manufacturing Laboratory is open to students all day long. Various conditions are provided for students to participate in various innovative design competitions. Many students use their spare time to carry out activities in the laboratory and have achieved gratifying results.

Organized students to participate in the National Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, and the participating teams all won:

In 2008, won two silver awards and two bronze awards in the Guangdong Division;

In 2010, won two silver awards, three bronze awards and the best organization award in the Guangdong Division;

Participated in the National 3D Digital Innovation Design Competition in 2010 and won two second prizes and two third prizes in the Guangdong competition area;

Students have been organized to participate in the Governor's Cup industrial design competition for many times, and all works are shortlisted;

In 2010, students participated in the Guangdong Energy Conservation Competition and won the third prize;

Participated in the Asia-Pacific University Student Robot Television Competition for the first time in 2009, won the only Best Stability Award in the competition, and entered the top 16 for three consecutive years.
