Debate Team


The debate team is a professional team that enhances the debating ability of our college by organizing debate contests, participating in debate training and contests, providing talents and technical support for the Institute to participate in the debate contest at higher levels, and providing guidance and performance for the debate contest of gathering talents and eloquent world in the College of mechanical engineering. It is a member of the Youth League Committee of the College of mechanical engineering and the academic department of the student union.

The team leader is responsible for coordinating the overall situation and ensuring that every work is carried out. At the same time, the communication and exchange among team members should be strengthened. Before each activity, the team leader should write a plan in detail as soon as possible, reasonably arrange and distribute the work, and implement it to each team member, and do a good job of supervision to ensure the smooth progress of the plan. Strengthen communication with academic departments, respond to their needs and help them carry out their work. Team leaders or team members should actively communicate and exchange with the debate teams of other colleges, and cooperate with other colleges to carry out activities, so as to understand the strength of each other, and think of the same as the virtuous. The members of the team are composed of outstanding talents selected from the recruitment and debate competitions of the college, and each debate team will have a tutor.

Hold a regular meeting once a month to exchange experiences or ideas, dare to put forward existing problems, let the team members report the progress of this month's activities, and solve the problems. Reasonable distribution of tasks to team members, exercise their organization and handling ability.The following are the requirements and regulations for the members of the debate team:

 

(1) We should obey the instructions of the team leader and not refuse the routine meeting, training and competition for unreasonable reasons.

 

(2)The team members should get along well with each other, communicate with each other, cooperate with each other and solve problems together.

 

(3) After each debate training and competition, write a summary to the team leader.

 

(4) Actively put forward new ideas or suggestions to the team leader and discuss among the team members
